kill-line - Delete all characters to the end of the line
n kill-line (C-k)
kill-line, when used with no argument n, deletes all text from the cursor to the end of a line. When used on a blank line, it deletes the blank line. If a non-zero argument n is supplied it deletes the specified number of lines.
When the buffer mode line(2m) is enabled and the cursor is at the start of the line then the text on the line and the line itself are removed.
The removed text is placed in the yank buffer.
